Have you lived your life by equation, like A+B=C? But life doesn’t always work that way does it?
You invest your life and your love into someone and it doesn’t give you the results you were expecting.
You go to business seminars and don’t find your business growing.
We’re not machines. Formulas work sometimes, but they lack a key element.
Do you pursue the presence of God? Do pursue him in such a way that you create another formula?
Do you feel that you’re living more in the presence of God when you’re doing ‘things’ like prayer, bible study, singing songs of worship, etc.? Is it becoming an event on a calendar? Do you have to schedule it to make it happen?
Have any of these methods, which are not naturally bad things, become a means to manipulate God to enact Your will instead of His?
How can we live in a culture of resting in His presence?
These are questions we ask, we need to ask, we should consider because many times if your not asking the question you may not find the answer.
There is a need for the authentic presence of God and as we begin to search for the answer, our journey will be partially defined by where we begin, by the need.

This is a preparation for Presence.
